Please consider submitting a proposal on an innovation in your department/work you've done in your department, highlighting new or creative ideas that other departments can learn from and apply in their own institutions. Through the Innovations Showcase, we hope to capture and share new or creative ideas that other departments can learn from and apply in their own institutions across any of a department's mission areas or operations.
The ADFM Conference Planning Committee is especially interested in considering Innovation Showcases on the following topics:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Wellness (what are departments doing to promote faculty and staff wellness?)
- DEI
- Managing organizational change
We anticipate that the Innovation Showcase sessions will take place on Wednesday (2/24) or Friday (2/26) of the conference.
Deadline to Apply: September 7, 2026
Please note: If you are selected to present in an Innovation Showcase, you will be required to register for the conference.
ADFM Staff will notify applicants of their application status by October 9, 2026.
Submit an Innovation Showcase here!
The topics for these discussion tables can be specific (e.g. something you are doing in your department that you want to share), general (e.g. open discussion of a topic), or focused on networking. As a facilitator of the discussion topic, you would host two separate groups, 45 minutes allotted for each, during the breakfast hour on Wednesday, February 24, 2027.
Deadline to Apply: October 26, 2026
If you are interested in hosting a Breakfast Table Discussion Topic, please complete this form!
Conference Policies
Refund Policy
A full refund of the conference registration fee may be given up to 60 days prior to the start date of the conference.
A 50% refund of the conference registration fee may be given up to 30 days prior to the start date of the conference. ADFM provides the hotel with a guaranteed attendance count 30 days before the conference. After this date, registration costs are incurred on your behalf and refunds will not be issued, except in cases of emergencies as described below.
For family, medical, or weather emergencies that preclude conference attendance, the registrant may request a 50% refund or transfer their registration to another individual in the same registration category who is not yet registered. If a registrant is unable to attend because of a weather emergency, the registrant must confirm that they attempted to reschedule their travel arrangements but could not get to the conference in time.
All requests for refunds must be received by email to the ADFM office at adfm@adfm.org. No refunds will be issued later than 1 week after the end of the conference.
ADFM Annual Meeting Guidance on Health and Safety
As a condition of your attendance at this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- If I have symptoms of COVID-19 or other contagious illnesses, I will recuse myself from participating in the ADFM conference.
- I agree to follow all instructions and safety precautions posted or provided by ADFM, the conference and/ or event venue, and/or any governing authority during the conference and/or event attendance (which may include wearing masks in all meeting areas). It is understood and agreed that my failure to do so may result in being excluded from the event without refund, reimbursement, or other remuneration.
I understand that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, especially among the unvaccinated. I acknowledge my own desire and voluntary choice to travel to and participate in the 2027 Annual Conference. I assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, illness, disability, and death) that I may experience in connection with attending.
Accessibility Accommodations
We are committed to ensuring a welcoming and accessible experience for all attendees. If you require accessibility accommodations (such as assistive listening devices, a printed agenda, or other requests) onsite, please let us know on your registration form so we can plan appropriately. A member of the ADFM staff will also be available at the registration desk during the meeting to support your needs. For any questions prior to the event, feel free to email us at adfm@adfm.org.
